pretty pretty photo! But I'm trying to figure out what it is in the pic...is it a letterpress made of glass?
You have blogger as I have, and now I'm thinking...I don't remember how you decide the width..but it's in the template designer, isn't it? But then you also have to chose the size for every pic (small, medium, large, XL). And I find it hard to decide what size to use sometimes. I think the width is good on your blog, but in your post "I Hope You Get Some Use Out of Those" the photo of the beautiful tulips and the pot is too big for my (laptop)screen.I mean I have to scroll to see the whole pic. Was it that big before?
I always struggle with the size of the pics on my blog...
Thanks so much everyone! I can't tell you how much your encouragement means to me!
Maria - To set the column widths you go to "layout" and then "Template Designer" and then select "Adjust Widths." The overall width of my blog is now 1,020 px and the right sidebar is 300 px. I made my header 1,000 px to accommodate the wider width.
I set all of my pics to a width of 650 px in Photoshop, but any photo-editing software that lets you size your images will work. Then when you place your images, select "original size" from the options.
If you're using pics from the web, you may not be able to do that if the pic isn't large enough.
When I take vertical pics, they may be larger than the length of the screen on some computers at some resolutions but I want the consistency of the width so it has to be :-)
Wow Heather this is just so beautiful!
